Text or call Shay directly at (321) 363-7669. Talk through the service you have in mind and find an available time. You can also rebook before leaving your appointment. Choosing a service on this website helps start that conversation; it does not reserve an appointment.
Is Shay taking new clients?
Yes. Shay is taking new clients at Strandz Salon in Oviedo. Walk-ins are welcome when there is an opening; text ahead to check availability.
What if I’m not sure which service to choose?
Start with a question, an idea, or an inspiration photo. Shay can help you find a starting point. Color corrections and major changes begin with a free consultation in person.
What are the starting prices?
Color starts at $100, keratin at $250, and cut & style at $60. Prices vary with hair length and condition. Color and cuts are priced separately.
Do I need to leave a deposit?
New color and keratin clients book with a $50 deposit through Venmo or Zelle. The deposit is credited toward the service. Shay will share the details when you arrange your appointment.
How much notice should I give to change an appointment?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, or 48 hours for color and keratin appointments. Late cancellations and no-shows are $50. Contact Shay directly as soon as your plans change.
Where is the salon, and when is Shay there?
Shay works at Strandz Salon, 1783 E Broadway St, Oviedo, FL 32765. Usual hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9am–3pm, Wednesday 9am–7pm, and some Saturdays. Hours can vary; text to confirm. View visit details and directions.
What payment methods are accepted?
Card, cash, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, and tap to pay are accepted. New-client color and keratin deposits are paid through Venmo or Zelle.
Does Shay offer other services or hair products?
Ask about perms and waves, scalp treatments, and brow wax and tint. Retail hair products are also available, including Bokka Botanika, Pureology, Kenra, Color Wow, Redken, and Moroccanoil. Discuss what fits your routine with Shay.
