Balayage is color painted onto the hair by hand instead of woven into foils. It blends from a softer root into brighter ends, so there is no hard line as it grows out. That makes it one of the easiest ways to go lighter without coming back every few weeks.

Bring photos of looks you love, and any you don’t, and say how often you want to come in. Shay suggests what works with your skin tone.
Going a lot lighter? If your hair is dark or already colored, it can take more than one visit to get there safely. You plan it together at the consultation.
03 / KEEPING IT FRESH
Months,
not weeks.
Most people come back every 3 to 4 months. Use a color-safe, sulfate-free shampoo, and wash in cool water when you can. A gloss between visits brings back the shine.

Balayage is priced at your consultation, because it depends on your hair’s length and thickness and how much lightening you want. Color starts at $100, and a cut is priced separately.

Prices vary with hair length and condition. Color and cuts are priced separately. New color and keratin clients book with a $50 deposit through Venmo or Zelle, credited toward their service.
Please give 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, or 48 hours for color and keratin. Late cancellations and no-shows are $50.
